FAQ

What can I use the Bug for?

The Bug can be ridden for short travel, as a sporting item,

for tricks (like a skateboard) or just for fun and fitness.

Do I need a license to ride the Bug?

No.

Do I need safety gear?

We recommend that you wear a helmet and suitable protective gear

at all times when riding the Bug.

Where's the brake?

The brake is the friction plate over the rear wheel. To activate it simply

step on the plate.

Is the Bug difficult to use?

No. Due to its low centre of gravity it makes balancing the Bug very

easy.

Where can I buy the Bug on line.

We don't sell direct to the public as we are a distribution company.

However please feel free to contact us and we will give you details of

your nearest stockist. We cannot list them all here as there is just too

many to list. However a couple of good ones are

Argos Sports, Harrogate. info@argosports.demon.co.uk

Tony Pryce Sports, Somerset. mail@tonyprycesports.co.uk

Freerider Stores plc, all over the place try Clive@freeriderstores.com

How much does the Bug cost?

Prices vary from store to store. However our recommended retail price

is £ 69.95.

What do I do if something breaks?

In the unlikely event you have problems with your Bug simply take it

back to the store where you purchased it with your receipt. Or

alternatively call us direct on +44 (0)151 523 0500 or E-Mail us with

your problem.

Where can I get replacement parts?

Replacement parts may be obtained at the store where you purchased

your Bug. If they don't stock spares then contact us with your name and

address and we will send you prices for spares parts.

Where can I buy accessories?

Again at the store where you purchased your Bug.

Is there any warranty with my Bug?

Yes, we offer full warranty fro the date of purchase exclusive of usual

wear and tear and as long as the manufacturers recommended

wheels have been used. Refer to our on-line manual for further details

and instructions.

Why must I use manufacturers recommended wheels?

Our wheels are manufactured from a special grade poly-urethane and

specially designed to deliver high performance. Other wheels are not

suitable for use with the Bug and obviously as we have not made them

we can't tell you whether they are any good.
